Gwen Van Ark, M.Ed, is an avid fitness and health professional. As a long-time endurance athlete, she has competed in Triathlon, Running, and Cycling events for most of her life. Today, she focuses on virtual road racing but still enjoys about 6-8 in-person races a year.

After retiring from her job with UNC Chapel Hill, she decided to shift gears and put her experience and passion in health and fitness to better use by becoming a Certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor. Watching her father and mother struggle with mobility issues led her to focus on older individuals. Gwen cares deeply about each client and strives to help them define and pursue their goals of living their best life.

As we age, things that were once easy may not be as easy. By working with a trained professional, the client learns how to improve their stability and mobility, which, with continued practice, can lead to longevity.
